Was Austria's goal/aim in for WWI to crush serbain nationalism or to annex Serbia and therefore crush national?

Austra-Hungary's goal (aka the Hapsburg Empire) in WW1 was to hold onto it's weak crumbling empire. The goal was to crush all nationalism in the empire (Polish, Slovak, Croatian, etc.). It was not about Serbia, it was about trying to hold what they had. Also, the Russian Empire was happy to see Austria-Hungary (and the Ottoman Empire) slip up so they could swoop in and pick up some pieces. Also keep in mind that much of Austria-Hungary at the time was remnants of the old Polish-Lithuanian Commonwelth. It was never a strong empire.
