Army ROTC/Reserves HELP?

Ok so I am sure I want to join the military and become an officer. I was called today by a recruiter who was telling me about using ROTC and reserve in conjunction. Although to me it doesn't make sense that I would need money if I had an ROTC scholarships. Can someone please explain to me the benefits of doing this AND what are some of the possibilities that could come such as deployment during school. And if I am deployed will I be an enlist and could I push that deployment back until I finish and get my commission? Please give me answers
