Religious/ Cult schools near Beverley/ Hull?

Does anybody live near Hull/ Beverley? I live in Bridlington and my old Business teacher used to teach at a religious/ way of life school which was situated near Hull or Beverley (i cant remember which one), however i have forgotten the name of the school. The children that attend have to wear black and white, and the girls are not allowed to cut their hair. The children and their families do not believe in outside communication i.e. -No Televisions, No internet, No telephones, No radio and they use typewriters. Anybody got any ideas?
