You need a guy to make you happy: yes or no?

I've never had a bg and I"m 18 and my friends keep pestering me about it and it's really getting on to me. I don't want a relationship unless I"m positive about the guy, is that weird? I feel almost embarred that I'm 18 and I haven't done anything yet. =(
