How do i use windows video maker?

im confused.i havent used windows video maker before and the main things im worried about is 1.putting my own music into my videos 2. being able to put words during the video 3. putting it onto a DVD 4. uploading all the footage needed.....this is for a spoof of laguna beach school project..any other ideas would be appreciated=)
