Help with how to loose weight?

Ok well im 14 5 ft 3 and 140 pounds. What im wanting to ask is any weight loose tips ive done 2 other posts and ive been listening/doing what people have said but it seem to not work. As of right now im jogging/walking 1.5 miles every other day any snow shoeing and skiing. Sadly its winter so not many things are open. Ive also been cutting out most fatty food and it seemed to work for the first few days I lost 2 pounds I went from 139.5 to 137 and then 2 days later I kept to the jogging snow shoeing skiing and eating healthy, and few days after I lost the 2 pounds I jumped up to 140 pounds.. any idea why?? Also any workout ideas for when its way to snowy to get outside (we have been getting 3-4 feet a night it seems.
