Any news on the upcoming Green Lantern movie? (Ryan Reynolds)?

I know Ryan Reynolds is playing Green Lantern and/or Hal Jordan, and I think he seems fitting to me. I really like him as an actor and this could be a really awesome movie with him. Do you guys know anything about when its going to come out or at least when the trailers will come out? Thanx
